Portland's reputation as America's brunch-loving capital is well earned. But how are you supposed to know which brunches are worth your money and time? You're in luck, your fellow readers have done the work to nominate and then choose the winners of The Oregonian's Readers Choice Awards for the best brunch spot in town.

Last week, the founders of Redwood announced the restaurant's sale to Brenda Dunn and long-time employee Chantel Chinco. Located at 7915 SE Stark Street, this well-reviewed dining destination opened in early 2013 and will continue with new but familiar management.

With hearty comfort cuisine and budget-friendly booze, Redwood is worthy of a spot on our list of Portland's best new brunch players.
